Deka Minas provides experienced international educators with the opportunity to explore a new educational and cultural environment through full-time or part-time teaching positions in the Middle East with some of the top private international schools.
What you will be doing:
- Plan, organize and provide instruction in English.
- Develop and deliver a lesson plan that utilizes a broad range of appropriate teaching techniques and strategies.
- Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons.
- Providing appropriate feedback on oral and written work.
- Listening actively and effectively in order to identify and solve problems.
- Facilitate students’ learning and work on building students’ confidence.
- Participating in Maths Department staff meetings and professional development.
- Plan and research activities and special events.
- Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support student development.
To be eligible for these roles, you should have:
- Citizen of South Africa, RSA passport.
- A relevant teaching degree.
- Age limit: 23 to 58 years old.
- Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience in your subject area.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to Saudi Arabian customs and norms.
