Our client, a leading motor dealership, is looking for a skilled Costing Clerk to support their team during a 4-5 month maternity cover.
Requirements:
- Matric Certificate (essential)
- Proven experience as a Costing Clerk within the motor dealership or automotive industry
- Strong numeracy and data entry skills, with a focus on accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant accounting software
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately calculate and process costs related to vehicle sales, servicing, and repairs
- Prepare and issue invoices for services rendered, ensuring clarity and accuracy
- Maintain detailed cost records and assist with budget tracking
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure precise job costing
- Provide general administrative support related to costing and invoicing processes
