We are looking for a pastry chef with experience in specialty cakes and icing to join a coffee shop and bakery in Hillcrest. A premiere coffee shop that offers fantastic food and cakes, along with catering services for all occasions.

As the pastry chef, you will be responsible for:
- Baking cakes, pies, tarts, cookies, muffins, croissants, and other sweet treats
- Developing new recipes and menus
- Ensuring quality standards and customer satisfaction
- Managing inventory and costs
- Complying with health and safety regulations
- Icing of cakes with quality, creativity, and perfection.
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A relevant qualification in pastry or baking (Advantageous)
- At least 3 years of experience as a pastry chef or baker
- A creative flair and a passion for baking, especially in regard to cake decoration/icing
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Salary - R10 000 - R12 000 per month, depending on your qualifications and experience.
