This opportunity is your chance to add value and be part of major decision making in the entity. This company is a global leader in cross-border tax and compliance services, operating on all major continents. This company consists of several small to large entities, each with their individual finance team, which the incumbent will be tasked with managing from the centralized office in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The incumbent must be comfortable with an environment that is ever-changing.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Tax consulting and compliance
- VAT returns and calculations for African entities
- Ad hoc travel into Africa and Middle East
- Stakeholder engagement and management across Africa and Middle East
- Analyse, plan and manage costs
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- SAIT or SAICA accreditation is essential
- Postgraduate Degree in taxation is essential
- 10+ years’ experience in taxation is essential
- 8 to 10+ years’ experience in the audit/consulting space
- Big 4 audit experience is highly preferred
