Experience Required : 6+ years
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and mentor a team of database administrators, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust database systems, ensuring high performance, availability, and security.
- Manage and optimize databases using PostgreSQL and MS SQL, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
- Develop and enforce database standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various projects and initiatives.
- Conduct performance tuning, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
- Stay current with emerging database technologies and trends to drive innovation within the team.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in database administration with a strong focus on PostgreSQL and MS SQL.
- Proven experience leading technical teams and managing large-scale database environments.
- Strong understanding of database design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model, demonstrating strong self-motivation and time management skills.
