Hire Resolve is partnering with a reputable Engineering Consulting firm, that is looking for a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Cape Town!
Key Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering degree (/BSc)
- 1-2 years minimum experience
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages (Excel/Word/MS Project)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform engineering calculations to support design work
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors
- Perform general mechanical design work
- Perform pressure vessel code calculations and do designs in collaboration with a client
- Liaise with clients in a professional manner
- Compilation of documentation for tenders and technical submissions
- Handling equipment procurement, assembly, configuration, installation, and commissioning activities associated with water treatment projects
- Performance testing and reporting
