Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field; or Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field and four (4) additional years of progressively responsible human resources experience that provides broad knowledge of human resources and recruitment/talent acquisition.
- One (1) year of recruitment/talent acquisition experience with full-cycle recruitment and employee onboarding, working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and strategic sourcing.
- Must possess a valid state driver's license and obtain a valid Florida driver's license within thirty (30) days of hire or promotion.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilizes creative professional and ethical recruiting methods to source and identify top-performing candidates for open positions, process improvement, and reduction of cost per hire.
- Provide guidance to hiring managers throughout the recruiting process to assist in reducing the time to hire employees.
- Develop strong, trusting relationships with client groups, ensuring that talent recruitment and a positive candidate experience are integrated into business processes.
- Participate in cross-functional project work with other areas of Talent and HR, including Learning and development, Succession Planning, Communications and Social Media, and HR Technology.
- Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire), and extends conditional employment offers that include negotiation for both exempt and nonexempt positions.
- Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as social media, career fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
- Develop advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
- Works to achieve talent acquisition metrics and goals including quality of applicant pools and hires, diversity, number of hires, time to fill, hiring manager and new hire satisfaction, cost-per-hire, and turnover data. Analyzes success against metrics and creates and executes plans to achieve ongoing improvement in results that will reduce turnover in the business.
