AI/ML and Embedded Software Developer Intern

Your responsibilities
- Evaluating state-of-the-art deep learning algorithms.
- Algorithm analysis, prototyping, and optimization.
- Embedded software development for applications, demos, and algorithms.
- Parallel programming framework and compiler toolchain use and development.
Your team
As a member of our software development team, you will develop safe, innovative, and high-performance software implementations of AI/ML enablement leveraging generic and specific accelerators integrated into NXP's leading class embedded microprocessors used by many car manufacturer companies in the world.
Your profile
- Experience in programming with C/C++ in embedded systems.
- Working knowledge of operating systems concepts such as memory management and multi-tasking.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail, self-motivated, and the ability to be a team player while working independently.
The following are pluses:
- Prior experience with Deep Learning framework, training, or optimization.
- Understanding of parallel programming languages and frameworks, CUDA, OpenCL.
- Experience developing software on embedded systems with an HLOS, cross-compilation.
- Working knowledge with scripting languages like Python, Tcl, Perl.

This is a full-time position with a fixed-term contract for 1 year.
Compensation: Besides a good salary, you will receive lunch vouchers and 25 vacation days. We also have flexible work hours and a work-from-home policy.
