Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Expertise: Developing and implementing strategies to meet and exceed sales targets for solar energy solutions, particularly within agricultural markets.
• Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction.
• Client Engagement: Build trust with agricultural and corporate clients, guiding them through the financial and technical aspects of renewable energy solutions
• Technical Consultation: Advising clients on solar system solutions tailored to their specific agricultural or commercial needs, including energy-saving strategies.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to all industry regulations and standards in solar installations and agricultural practices.
• Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities and stay informed about industry trends to keep the company at the forefront of the energy sector.
• Target Achievement: Deliver sales totalling between R50m - R100m in project size per annum.
Requirements:
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in solar system sales or relevant experience in the agricultural sector.
• Education (Preferred): Bachelors or Engineering Degree
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage and build trust with a diverse client base.
• Financial acumen to present compelling value propositions to clients.
• Self-motivation and a results-oriented mindset to meet and exceed sales targets.
• The ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
• Able to travel throughout South Africa
