The service you will work in….
As a senior member of the Business Development Team, you will help us explore
opportunities for growth, develop existing services and strategically manage
relationships with key stakeholders. This role will specifically focus on
engaging our national health service colleagues
A day in this role looks like….
As a Head of Health**** at Hestia, you will play a crucial role in our
Integrated Development team. Your contributions will directly influence the
lives of our service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and
independence.
A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to dobe
responsible for are:
- To lead the development of new projects and approaches to support people with mental wellbeing needs with our operational teams.
- To proactively scan the environment for gaps and opportunities to create new interventions to underpin the recovery of our service users.
- To convene and chair project steering groups, made up of Hestia colleagues from business development, operations, performance, and policy, to analyse emerging opportunities, construct build and shape new projects
- To support the delivery of Hestias health strategy, including key performance indicators, experience, and outcome measures
- To act as a bridge between Hestias current operational delivery and external opportunities which emerge from the policy and partnership environment
- To contribute to business development net new income and retention. These primarily relate to contracts with local authorities, the NHS and grant proposals.
- To establish and develop networks linking Hestia with local health and social care agencies
- To act as an ambassador for Hestia with health and social care stakeholders.
- To work with the development team to translate our work into key new business, including cases for support, proposals, and case studies- Lead on high quality bid writing and applications in line with organisational requirements; ensuring deadlines and reporting requirements are met
- Build a shortmediumlong term pipeline of income opportunities which can, over time, diversify our income associated with our health offer

- A track record of developing new business from inception to delivery using a collaborative approach.
- Experience of driving strong income growth via different channels including at least one of the following: local authoritiesNHS Trusts, grant giving institutions
- Natural ability to create and nurture new, high value strategic partnerships.
- A proven strategic thinker, with the ability to develop and implement strategy and formulate operational plans including KPIs.
- Good commercial acumen with experience of setting and managing budgets and delivering against targets.
