Product Transfer Operative
Our client is an established producer of high quality pet foods based in North Scarle, Lincoln and they currently have an exciting opportunity for a Product Transfer Operative to join their team as soon as possible!
The role will involve working a rotating shift pattern of both days and night shift, 06:00-18:00 and 18:00-06:00. The shifts can be explained further at interview stage.
The role will be temporary on going initially with a view to be offered a permanent contract depending upon performance.
The pay rate for the role is 12.24 per hour.
Duties of the role will include: -
Traceability of product including quantities within the WIP bin installation
Purge of product to prevent cross contamination.
Follow the production plan to fit the correct size mesh screens to the Mogensen sieves as according to the matrix for these meshes per product.
Set-up Tomra optical sorters to suit the product coming through.
At the end of each production run, collect ALL regrind collection bins and totes and collate into coded regrind totes (usually 2), print a ticket consume on CEMEX and remove to the sheds for use by the mill operators.
As an FLT driver assist with other areas as and when required including raw material transfers into the mill
Provide an element of cover to site waste management when required
To be considered for the role you will need to have an FLT Counterbalance License and preferably, a background within food or FMCG manufacturing.
It is also essential that candidates have their own transport due to the remote location of our client.
