Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the installation and maintenance of signalling systems
- Working collaboratively with the signalling team to ensure successful project delivery
- Adhering to safety and quality standards in all signalling work
- Conducting regular inspections and testing of signalling equipment
- Assisting in the troubleshooting and resolution of signalling faults
- Reporting on work progress and issues to supervisors as required
- Maintaining accurate records of work undertaken
- Working towards achieving IRSE certification
Job Requirements:
- Experience as an Assistant Installer in the rail sector
- BS1 or equivalent qualification
- Understanding of signalling systems and maintenance procedures
- Ability to work night shifts, Sunday to Thursday
- Commitment to safety and quality in all tasks
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
- Willingness to work towards IRSE certification
- Minimum 40 hours availability per week
