Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Representative to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, resolving customer inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
The primary responsibility of the Service Representative is to ensure that the correct products and services are delivered to clients, aligned with their production goals.
Key tasks include managing onsite chemicals, equipment, and staff, prioritizing safe working conditions, and maintaining regular communication with clients to ensure their satisfaction. The Service Representative must also keep the process engineer updated on the status of Watercare’s operations on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality):
Always wear appropriate PPE and ensure it’s supplied to supervisors and their teams.
Complete monthly safety topics in line with mine Health and Safety Regulations.
Communicate all safety-related topics, alerts, and notices to supervisors.
Ensure required SDS boards and documents are displayed at work areas and chemical dosing stations.
Keep workplace files up to date.
Fulfil duties prescribed by the Safety Appointment assigned to the role.
Adhere to client’s SHEQ rules, regulations, and policies. - Operational:
Underground:
Conduct underground visits where applicable to ensure system functionality and task completion by settler operators.
Provide continuous on-site training for settler operators.
Manage roster, leave, and administrative queries of settler operators.
Maintain a minimum stock level of 3 days underground and 2 weeks on surface.
Record chemical consumption weekly.
Surface:
Conduct daily meetings with clients.
Ensure chemical stock is maintained at 1 month stock for all surface dosing stations.
Top up chemical tanks on site.
Facilitate deliveries and collections, ensuring adherence to mine procedures. - General/Admin/Reporting:
Report regularly to management and clients on site performance (water quality, settler draining, etc.).
Attend all required site meetings.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Process Engineer and Area/District Manager related to site management, improvements, and new business development.
Call-out availability when required, as some clients require 24/7 support availability. - Commercial:
Drive profitability by managing costs, handling invoices on time, and generating new sales at current and new sites.
Qualifications: 2 – 3 years Servicing and Maintenance experience.
