About this Opportunity
We have opportunities available for our Northern Territory Flight Nurse teams, as we strategically expand our RFDS operations in the Territory. Reporting directly to the Flight Nurse Manager, as the Flight Nurse, you will work in a diverse, fulfilling and rewarding environment.
Specifically, you will:
- Be at the forefront of aeromedical health services, providing primary response, intensive care, midwifery and trauma services, including emergency retrievals, as part of our high-performance aeromedical team in regional, rural and remote SA & NT.
- Work in a dynamic environment using your skills and experience to deliver outstanding patient care, where two days are never the same.
About You
You are:
- A healthcare professional who takes pride in delivering high quality nursing & midwifery care.
- Professional in your approach to service delivery.
- Willing to work collaboratively with other health professionals, pilots, and operational employees to provide high quality health care in a remote environment.
- Have a great sense of adventure.
To be considered for the role you require:
- AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with a post graduate qualification in Emergency or Intensive Care Nursing, minimum of 3 years post graduate experience in a tertiary hospital.
- Previous experience in rural and remote area environments (desirable not essential).
