Our client is seeking an Estimator with experience in the Engineering Industry with exposure to structural, mechanical and piping environment. This will be a permanent opportunity and based in Johannesburg.
Key Responsibilities for this Role Include:
- Prepare estimations and tenders for all construction projects.
- Provide technical and financial solutions for tenders.
- Accurately take off quantities from drawings.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for installations.
- Prepare pricing schedules/ BOQs.
Qualification
Grade 12
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Project Management or similar (NQF Level 7)
Experience
- 5-10 years of experience working as an Estimator within the Engineering industry.
- Experience in Piping, Mechanical and Structural environments.
- Experience working on power plant or heavy industrial projects (essential).
- Read and Comprehend mechanical, construction designs and assembly drawings (structural or mechanical).
- CCS experience.
