Synopsis:
We are going to help the client with a system rewrite/modernization. So, we need a PM who understands Software Development Lifecycle and has done similar projects. Also, cloud experience is needed, as we will probably move them from on-prem to cloud as well.
Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Define project objectives and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Coordinate and manage project activities, resources, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
Team Leadership and Coordination:
- Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Address and resolve project-related issues and risks promptly, maintaining project momentum.
Steering Committee Presentations:
- Prepare and deliver regular project status reports and presentations to the Steering Committee.
- Provide clear and concise updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate SteerCo meetings, ensuring that decisions are documented and action items are followed up on.
Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, address concerns, and manage expectations.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans to address them.
- Monitor and control project risks, adjusting plans as necessary to mitigate impacts.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that expenditures are within approved limits.
- Allocate resources effectively and efficiently to achieve project objectives.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered as per the defined requirements.
- Conduct project reviews and post-implementation evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
