Job Description
A multi-disciplinary consulting firm is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their Cape Town office. The firm provides consulting engineering services for the design, implementation, and close-out of HVAC systems. This includes:
- Inception
- Detail design
- Documentation and procurement
- Construction
- Site monitoring
- Project close-out
Responsibilities:
- BSc/ BEng./ BTech. in Mechanical Engineering
- 2 - 5 years experience
- Proficient in HVAC design and commissioning systems in accordance with local and international standards
- Proficient in air-conditioning heat load and ventilation calculations
- Good understanding of SANS
- Proficient in HVAC design software packages
- Proficient in various HVAC modeling software and BIM conversant is essential (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
- Experience in Wet Services and Fire Engineering will be advantageous
