ACCOUNTANT - R30k pm - HYBRID - CBD (2 days per week remote and Flexible working hours)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparing bank reconciliations
- Preparing/reviewing invoices and payments to suppliers
- Accurate processing of journal entries
- Performing reconciliations and preparing accounting files for review.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations (incl. completion and submission of the relevant tax returns)
- Preparation of annual financial statements
- Preparation of monthly management reports
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients
Requirements
- SAIPA Qualified
- 3-5 years of experience in a relevant accounting role (incl. articles experience)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite and accounting software (e.g. Xero, Dext, Approval Max, Fathom)
- Recommended: a keen interest to learn and work on projects within the Crypto, Web 3 and Blockchain space.
