Job Opportunity: Estimator
Our client is seeking an Estimator with experience in the Engineering Industry , specifically in structural, mechanical, and piping environments. This will be a permanent position based in Johannesburg .
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare estimations and tenders for all construction projects
- Provide technical and financial solutions for tenders
- Accurately take off quantities from drawings
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for installations
- Prepare pricing schedules/BOQs
Qualifications:
- Grade 12
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Project Management or similar (NQF Level 7)
Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience working as an Estimator within the Engineering industry
- Experience in Piping, Mechanical, and Structural environments
- Experience working on power plant or heavy industrial projects (essential)
- Read and comprehend mechanical, construction designs and assembly drawings (structural or mechanical)
- CCS experience
