Job Responsibilities:
- Assess and adjust losses of complex claims such as Subsidence, Storms, etc.
- Manage, control, and attend to contractor audits and authorizations over-mandate.
- Conduct upfront assessments and handle customer complaints.
- Enforce correct interpretation of the Homeowners insurance policy with panel service providers and clients.
- Perform mentoring and coaching support for SIL, service providers, and clients on products and technical aspects.
Qualifications:
Education:
Diploma in Construction Technology
Degree in Building Science or Construction
Fire investigation, Kwikot Benchmark training
FAIS Compliant
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years as a Building Assessor
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Short-Term Insurance industry
Knowledge of Homeowners policy wording interpretation
Knowledge of National Building Regulations and practical application thereof.
