Role's mission
We're looking for a Business Analyst to join our Global Operations PMO to transform how we manage our Business and Operations processes and panels for our customers to enable consistency and efficiency across our global markets. Working alongside multiple multi-functional teams, you will be responsible to define the processes and requirements to transform from the current to future state.
The Business Analyst (BA) with a specialization in Technology and Automation will play a critical role in identifying and implementing innovative technology solutions to streamline business processes and enhance efficiency. This role requires a strategic problem solver with strong analytical skills to understand business needs, evaluate automation opportunities, and develop scalable solutions that drive operational excellence. The BA will collaborate closely with multi-functional teams, using advanced automation tools and technologies to transform workflows, reduce manual effort, and optimize data flow across systems.

Key outcomes
- Audit and review the end-to-end operational processes to map the current state and define the future state opportunities.
- Help to improve performance, efficiency and stability by documenting and defining the business problem using data and metrics.
- Support requirements gathering and definition on projects to improve our operational and commercial capabilities.
- Write well thought out, clear and detailed user stories with acceptance criteria and communicate to different partners.
- Collaborate with global Project, Product, Tech and Operations teams to evaluate solutions and ensure accurate delivery of business requirements.
- Brief Product owners and developers on your requirements and work closely with them to create realistic plans to deliver against the deadline.
- Contribute to the establishment of best practices for technical and automation business analysis processes.
- Establish and nurture collaboration with Product and Operations Business Analysts, Technology and Product Owners.
Key Capabilities (Responsibilities)
- Develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with Operations business as usual and project teams.
- Understanding of agile Project Management methodologies and software development processes.
- Understanding technical, automation and operational needs as they relate to a potential business change or transformation.
- Good facilitation skills coupled with analytical ability to elicit critical information.
- Good communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Able to appropriately challenge what, why and how things are.
- Use decision analysis methods to define the problem and formulate the requirements or processes.
- Able to define technical, automation and operational needs and solutions using problem-solving techniques.
- Gathering, identifying, and documenting technical and operational functional and non-functional requirements.
- Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously, prioritising tasks to meet goals.
- Leverage data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to produce actionable insights that guide business decisions.
- Supporting the Technology and Automations teams with process mapping to establish best practises.
- Support automation initiatives through low-code/no-code platforms and RPA tools (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, UiPath).
- Collaborate with data science teams to integrate AI-driven models (e.g., Microsoft Document AI, NLP) into processes, enhancing operational efficiency and supporting data-informed automation solutions.
- Collaborative and adaptable with the ability to work effectively within different cultural and technical environments.
- Inquisitive, with critical thinking, and demonstrate genuine passion for consumer behaviour.
Your background will ideally look like this...
- Minimum of 5 years of business analyst experience.
- Experience in platforms, applications and automation initiatives.
- Proficiency in workflow automation and automation solutions.
- Ability to transform and modernize legacy systems through automation and technology upgrades.
- Skilled in Agile methodologies for sprint planning, management, and iterative development.
- Possesses full business proficiency in English (B2 Level Minimum).
- Thorough approach to business analysis.
- Experience in generating process documentation and reports.
- Ability to support the management of story backlog, story refinement and testing.
- Knowledge of ADO, Jira, Microsoft suite of tools, and modelling tools (Visio, LucidCharts).
- Experience within any of the following: market research, operations, technology, or retail.
