About the role
Education Minimum:
- Matric;
- Passed exam RE: Representatives;
- Diploma/Degree in Finance (e.g., B.COM or similar);
- NQF Level 5 Certificate in Insurance;
Experience Minimum:
Ideal Education:
- Advantage: Higher Certificate in Insurance (NQF5);
Ideal Experience:
- Minimum 10 years short-term insurance experience, preferably in an intermediary environment;
- Previous leadership experience of at least 5 years in a similar size business in the insurance industry;
- Proven ability to successfully lead the Broking Operations function - Commercial and Personal Lines;
Skills:
- Business Acumen;
- Basic understanding of financial management;
- High-level knowledge and understanding of FAIS;
- High-level knowledge and understanding of S15 of FAIS;
- Computer Literacy (MS Packages);
- Mathematical literacy;
