Restaurant Store Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Restaurant Store Manager to oversee all aspects of our restaurant. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality menu, motivating your team to provide excellent customer service, and maintaining the restaurants revenue, profitability, and quality goals. You will ensure efficient operation, high production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
Successful candidates will have management experience in both front and back-of-house operations. You will oversee the dining area, manage customer interactions, balance seating capacity, and handle back-of-house responsibilities, including hiring qualified staff, setting work schedules, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
You will lead by example, support staff during busy periods, and ensure a smooth operation that provides pleasant dining experiences for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front and back-of-house restaurant operations.
- Deliver exceptional service and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Address and resolve customer complaints effectively and accurately (in-store).
- Regularly review product quality and research potential new vendors.
- Organize and manage staff shifts.
- Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback to the Area Manager for productivity improvements.
- Forecast future needs for goods, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products, and place orders as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to sanitation and safety regulations.
- Maintain and enhance the restaurants image and suggest improvements.
- Control operational costs and implement waste reduction measures.
- Prepare detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.
- Promote the brand within the local community through events and word-of-mouth.
- Suggest strategies to reach a broader audience, such as discounts and social media promotions.
- Train new and current employees in customer service best practices.
- Implement policies and protocols to ensure continued successful restaurant operations.
Requirements and Skills
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, General Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar role.
- Demonstrated customer service experience in a managerial capacity.
