Job Title: Sales Director
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to join our team at Status Staffing. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for creating and executing a strategic sales plan, monitoring actual sales against sales budget, and reporting to management monthly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve overall margin targets set by management.
- Monitor actual sales against sales budget from all sales executives and report to management monthly.
- Present strategic planning to improve client results and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with purchasing, logistics, and planning to ensure contract positions, availability, and pricing is optimum.
- Manage and grow own customer base in Western and Eastern Cape, and expand sales area into Southern Africa.
- Hire, train, motivate, and advise the sales team to ensure contracts, price lists, and customer information is up to date in Sage.
- Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations and applicable laws.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of proven experience as a Key Account Manager and/or Sales Manager in the food industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Goal-oriented, assertive, and hands-on problem solver.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication and delegation abilities, fluency in English and Afrikaans essential.
- Capable of remaining calm under pressure.
- Outstanding people skills.
- Self-motivated and self-directed.
- Willing to travel across different regions.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
