Director of Engineering
Location: Cape Town (with the possibility to relocate to the USA after one year)

Qualifications and Experience:
- BEng-degree (mechanical, electronic, electrical, or mechatronic)
- Master’s degree will be beneficial
- Minimum 15 years of engineering working experience in the automotive industry
- Minimum 5 years proven track record of leading and mentoring a team
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the direction and daily activities of the Engineering team
- Oversee process improvements to the product development process
- Lead the development of reporting managers
- Oversee the development of the department
- Interact with all levels of company management
- Work closely with key suppliers and customers
