About the Role
Be an integral part of a team that re-shapes the online video market in South Africa.
Responsible for making sure each of the Partner Managers have the tools and support required to execute active projects and client needs. In their own project team, the Senior Partner Manager ensures that the needs of their clients are met, which includes finding solutions through innovative digital strategies, campaign execution, and coordination of always-on activities through the support of their team; a digital content manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to meet the customer’s request (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube etc).
- Leading and compiling documents such as content calendars and decks, and working with clients on feedback and final approvals.
- Project managing your content team (copywriter, content creative, paid media specialist, junior partner manager, and community manager) to ensure that all assets are produced and delivered as per brief and strategy.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and proposing new tools and processes.
- Developing and maintaining excellent knowledge and understanding of our business, offerings, competitors, and industry.
- Be comfortably familiar with YouTube as a platform and be able to execute all YouTube related tasks with the support of the team and other YouTube specialists where needed.
- Strategize for and implement other digital marketing efforts such as email marketing campaigns.
- Keep abreast with all platform and industry related news and insights.
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
- Build and present monthly reports to reflect on strategy and content performance for each brand and platform.
- Manage all Partner Managers to ensure they feel energized and deliver excellent value to the business and maintain a high standard of platform and YouTube expertise.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Completed Matric.
- A qualification in Digital Marketing, Advertising, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ Years experience in account management / project management / digital marketing or related experience.
- A YouTube Specialist: Proficiency in leveraging YouTube for brand building; ability to build YouTube strategies, execute SEO, run ads, uploads, pull and analyze analytics, copyright and monetization set-up / management.
- A strong knowledge of other social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn for digital marketing.
- Experience with working closely with clients on brand projects and managing client expectations and deliverables.
- Proficiency in the Google workspace: Google Docs, Google Sheets.
- Basic knowledge of how to create and design presentations on Canva.
- Experience overseeing simultaneous and multiple projects/tasks.
- Ability to lead a team, delegate tasks and manage a project from start to finish meeting client expectations and deliverables.
- Understanding of current market trends.
- Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational skills and good attention to detail.
- Stable high-speed internet connection.
- Own reliable transport with valid driver’s license – essential.
- South African with a valid South African ID.
- An absolute passion for YouTube and online video.
Package & Remuneration
The Position : We’re looking for an energetic Specialist. The pay range on offer is R30 000 to R35 000.00 (Negotiable) Package Per Month.
