knowledgeable and enthusiastic Field Guide to provide guests with exceptional and educational wildlife experiences. This role is integral to creating unforgettable memories in our breathtaking natural surroundings.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead guided safaris and bush walks, offering insightful commentary and ensuring guest safety at all times.
- Share comprehensive knowledge of local flora, fauna, and ecosystems.
- Manage and maintain safari vehicles and equipment to the highest standards.
- Ensure compliance with all conservation and safety regulations.
- Interact professionally with guests, addressing their queries and enhancing their understanding of the natural environment.
- Collaborate with the lodge team to deliver a seamless guest experience.
Requirements: - FGASA Level 1 qualification or higher, with a valid First Aid Certificate.
- Professional Trails Guide certification is advantageous.
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Field Guide in a luxury or 5-star setting.
- A deep passion for conservation and wildlife education.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
