My client in Cape Town requires a Technical FM to provide managerial and supervisory direction with regard to service delivery in order to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Grade 12
- Appropriate Electrical Tertiary qualification:
- NDip / Suitable trade test- discipline
- Must be red seal qualified
- Wireman’s Licence: Single Phase and Three Phase
- Min 5 year experience in facilities environment, built environment or equivalent knowledge or skill
- Call Centre, Data Centre, IT Environment (related to the technical aspect hereof) - Advantageous
- Experience and Exposure to : Fire Systems (Early Detection) , CCTV, Access Control and Biometrics systems.
- Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Manage technical maintenance field work
- Develop and maintain a successful business partnership with the client and stakeholders
- Manage and handle all PR and HR related matters relating to team and allocated staff
- HSE level 1 & 2
- Enhanced knowledge of:
- Production plants & process
- MV/HT Switchgear
- Standby generators and UPS
- Electrical Maintenance procedures
- Equipment & machinery
- Codes & Health and Safety
- Best Practices
- ISO 9000
- ISO 14000
- Technical drawing
- HSEQ: Understanding and knowledge of statutory and the client standards.
- Quality: Understanding of quality as an organisation wide activity and the philosophy of continuous improvement
- Experience in managing staff and key leadership
