We are currently recruiting for a *Management Accountant* on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 *based in North Manchester, near motorway links, this is an onsite position.*
*Role Summary:*
The Management Accountant will play a key role in preparing, analysing, and reporting financial information to support strategic decision-making. This position requires a strong understanding of management accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial data.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
* Accurate and timely reporting using Group reporting tools
* Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on project costs and gross margins
* P&L reporting and monthly sales forecasts.
* Budgeting, forecasting, and detailed cost recovery processing
* Managing FX forward contracts and ensuring compliance with hedge accounting policies
*Your Profile:*
* Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years in a Management/Cost Accountant role. Experience in the manufacturing sector is advantageous
* Education: A professional accounting qualification is desirable, but equivalent experience will also be considered
* Skills:
* Strong IT skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
* Experience with ERP systems
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to adapt to evolving business needs
* Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team
* Availability: Able to start ASAP
