Job Description: Our client, a popular family leisure venue on the East Sussex coast, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Cook to join their team.
Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook food items in a fast-paced environment.
- Operate kitchen equipment, including deep fryers.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen area.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
Required Skills and Experience: - Proven experience as a cook in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid Food Hygiene Certificate/s.
- Must be happy to work weekends during the seasonal peaks
Contract Options: We offer two contract options:
- Seasonal Contract:
- March to end of September each year (5 months off)
- Permanent Contract:
- Year-round position with variable hours to accommodate seasonal fluctuations.
- Consistent monthly income throughout the year.
