*Quicktemp are a market leading UK transport recruitment company, who are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Drivers who are passionate about their work within the transport/industrial sector.*
We are currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers (CE) to work for one of our reputable clients in Shetland Swindon, delivering tools and building materials.
*Duties included in this Class 1 role: *
* Being responsible for all produce and equipment, including crates, pallets, load restraints etc. onto a flatbed truck.
* Supervise the loading of the vehicle so that products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage
* Ensure that on arrival the delivery is safe to execute and respect customer’s property
* Check goods off with customers and obtain signature and print
* Handle customer issues on delivery effectively
* Communicate with the transport team to keep them updated where you are throughout the day
*Essential requirements:*
* 2 years experience in CE Category
* No more than 6 points
* Happy to work for 10 hours minimum per shift
* Flexible with working hours
* Valid CPC
* Valid Tachograph card
* All licences in date
