Production Manager - Greater Manchester

The role
- Forecasting/reordering/resourcing of materials.
- QC Management - Carry out regular checks, assessments, and internal audits.
- Driving standards and monitoring quality controls to reduce issues and delays.
- Oversee induction and training of new production personnel and to coordinate training matrix throughout departments.
- Hands on involvement for health and safety across all departments.
- Identify training requirements across all departments.
- Hands on responsibility for annual programme of internal and external audits.
- Manage maintenance and servicing for all departments.
The profile
- NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to lead and support.
- Must be able to plan and organise activities of self to achieve balance of proactive and reactive tasks.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Practical experience of medium batch production process.
- Have previous experience of and demonstrate strong negotiation and administrative skills.
- Confident problem-solver with excellent attention to detail.
- A hands-on leader who is ready to roll up their sleeves when needed.
