Diesel Forklift Technician to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg East. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel-powered machinery, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for ensuring equipment operates at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel forklifts and related equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement solutions.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Adhere to safety standards and company policies at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on-site.
Requirements: - Proven experience as a Diesel Forklift Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Valid drivers license (code B or equivalent).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
