Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will take ownership of comprehensive financial management processes, including:
- Overseeing the full finance function, including general ledger management, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Managing hedging and treasury operations, ensuring risk mitigation and financial stability.
- Preparing and presenting accurate financial reports to senior leadership.
- Supporting budget preparation and financial forecasting processes.
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS, tax laws, and company policies.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations.
Skills and Qualifications: - CA(SA) qualification with 2-5 years post-articles experience.
- Proven experience in the mining or engineering industries.
- Solid understanding of hedging strategies and treasury operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
