We are seeking an experienced cook to join our team, capable of preparing meals for up to 200 people.The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, strong culinary skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities & Info:
- Prepare, cook, and present meals for large groups.
- Ensure food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan menus and manage inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Adapt recipes and menus as needed to accommodate dietary restrictions.
- Working hours 7am - 2:30pm Monday to Friday
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a high-volume setting.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- An NVQ or higher in Catering/Cookery. You will require a Food Hygiene Certificate and Enhanced DBS - we can assist you with these if needed.
