Provide multidisciplinary engineering and operations skills to ensure general maintenance within specific unit of responsibility within prescribed guidelines. Responsible for affecting repairs to machines on the entire production line, resulting in minimum downtime. Trouble shoot, maintain, repair and conduct preventative maintenance on facility equipment. Primary focus will be on maintenance and repair of production equipment. Manage preventative maintenance programs and ensure proper and safe operation of processing equipment KPAS: Attainment of production plan Alarm fault finding Maintaining machinery and equipment per required standard Adhering to planned and preventative maintenance schedules Improving OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) on production line Tracking performances daily identifying performance gaps Supervise machine and equipment operation Process control Administrative tasks Health, Safety & Quality Install, dismantle, or move machinery and heavy equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, or other drawings Food Safety and Quality Culture Qualification Grade 12 (Maths & Science) Recognised Millwright Trade Test, Diploma (NQF 6) Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, speed drives, fillers, and labellers Fully competent in both electrical and mechanical Competence on PLCs (S7) Self-motivated and able to work independently Organised and good time management skills Able to handle pressure and meet deadlines Sound problem solving skills
