Overview
Hire Resolve’s client in the Logistics Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Supply Chain Manager to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics operations
- Manage and coordinate the movement of goods across international borders
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws
- Negotiate contracts with international carriers and logistics service providers
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics
- Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline supply chain operations
- Manage and develop relationships with key international suppliers and customers
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an International Logistics Supply Chain Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of international logistics and supply chain management
- Experience in customs regulations and international trade compliance
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong leadership and team management skills
