Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced electrician to join our dynamic team to conduct electrical maintenance and support production through plant setup and monitoring, thereby ensuring electrical plant reliability. Electrical reliability contributes to the overall efficiency of the plant, a key performance indicator of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned maintenance (PM01) tasks as assigned by the Electrical Foreman.
- Perform ad-hoc maintenance (maintenance tags, PM02, breakdowns, calibrations).
- Maintain a high standard of discipline and adherence to company procedures and required safety standards.
- Minimise plant downtime by ensuring effective and efficient maintenance or repairs are carried out.
- Inspect all sections of the plant and facilities frequently and raise maintenance tags for poor electrical standards.
- Conduct safety and environmental audits as per departmental targets.
- Perform fault finding on machines and use the applicable WCM tool (e.g. EWO, 5WHY, Quick Kaizen).
- Identify improvements in the process that could be made by modifying or replacing plant and bring such information to the attention of management.
- Inform plant management of all situations or conditions that could result in downtime and take all necessary remedial action.
- Complete WCM-related tasks and projects in line with the plant annual plan as instructed by the electrical foreman.
- Monitor plant machinery during production (on shift rotation as required by production plan) and report problems or risks to the relevant foreman.
- Provide lock-out/tag-out support for all departments and contractors as per isolation procedures.
- Complete all paperwork required by Company and site procedures.
- Perform tasks related to departmental performance measures (KPIs) as determined by the Electrical Engineer.
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum NTC2 electrical.
- Passed trade test as an Electrician.
- 2 years experience in an automated or partially automated production environment.
Requirements:
- Experience with electrical plant maintenance.
- Familiarity with PLC, VFD, and SCADA operation.
- Computer literacy essential.
- Able to work autonomously and complete all assigned tasks within deadlines.
- Willingness to work shifts in support of a 24/7 production schedule.
- Valid electrician certification and relevant qualifications.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
