Job Summary
To work with the digital and content teams for the daily publishing and updating of relevant and engaging content across RX websites and platforms.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of flexibility, efficiency, rigor and understanding of the internet and web technologies. He/she will be mainly responsible for migrating Reed Exhibitions sites to the new CMS platform ensuring functionality as well as ensuring that all tracking, tagging and SEO techniques are applied consistently using the agreed methodology, using the consistently applied tracking metrics to propose improvements and deliver optimisation. He/she shall have a solid foundation in HTML and will demonstrate dynamism, proactivity and team spirit.
Accountabilities
- Accurately update, publish and manage content across Reed Exhibitions’ event websites and platforms (e.g. Blogs, E-commerce etc) using agreed content from content marketing teams.
- Test event website on new and various web browsers on a regular basis.
- Update time references and GDPR requirements in footer of websites or other locations.
- Review each page on websites for consistency (fonts, photo sizes, etc.) and usability.
- Work to provide recommendations to relevant teams, ensuring that best practices are applied, improved and optimised.
- Work with various RX teams to proactively understand the broader customer journey, ensuring that there’s alignment for tracking and messaging (working with the appropriate teams as required).

- Data and Analytics Management: Ability to understand, analyze, gather and organize data in an account management tool or database and marry the results gathered and tasks accomplished with industry specific trends and demographics.
- Facilitation: The rudiments of an effective facilitator such as attributes and presentation skills.
- Campaign Management: Ability to conceptualize, create and execute an effective campaign journey across a variety of platforms.
- Web Development and Optimization: Ability to manage, implement, execute optimized content and web framework and analyze digital performance.
Hard/Technical, Soft Skills and Complimentary Skills
- WordPress, CMS, Linkbuilding, Form creation, Google Analytics, Keyword Research, SEO Audit, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Adaptability, Project management, communication, stakeholder management.
Other Qualifications/Requirements:
- 2 years relevant experience.
