Our client in Pretoria is recruiting for an SAP EWM Consultant (Advanced) to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the business requirements, preparing AS-IS and TO-BE documents, and get sign-off from users for Business Blueprint document.
- ABAP debugging beneficial (Workbench related knowledge of new development/enhancements).
- Set up the organization structure of Materials Management and perform all relevant configuration (e.g., Purchase Organisation, Valuation Area Plants, Storage Location, and Warehouse structure).
- Prepare testing documents and perform internal testing.
- Prepare Master Data templates for various objects like Material Master, Vendor Master, Excise Master, Info-records, Source List, and Purchase Orders.
- Conduct integration testing with other modules.
- Understand interfaces, IDOC, and RFC's processing.
- Prepare the cutover strategy for MM objects.
- Prepare user manuals and conduct training for business process owners.
- Support go-live preparation and post go-live support.
- Interact with clients through meetings, calls, and emails.
- Handle tickets and tasks with the responsibility for closing them within defined SLA’s (Service Level Agreements).
- Troubleshoot issues for the system and provide support.
- Execute the required changes through configuration.
- Analyze and resolve Production Support calls.
- Raise Change Requests (CR’s) and write Functional Specifications for them.
- Prepare test data for testing of CR’s (Change Requests).
- Test CR’s (Change Requests) and prepare test results.
- Carry out regression testing.
- Interact with consultants of other modules.
- Provide user interface transactional solutions.
- Proactively propose solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes.
- Support the functional team with issues and provide a solutions-based approach.
- Analyze and solve SAP EWM Module issues.
- Conduct SAP Module process configuration.
- Update and maintain all SAP EWM Module functional documentation.
- Analyze and scope End-user authorization roles.
- Conduct Unit tests, Integration tests, and System Integration security tests.
Qualifications/Experience:
- IT Degree and/or relevant qualifications / 5 years of SAP UI5 experience.
- SAP EWM Module Configuration.
- SAP EWM Operational Consultant (S/4HANA).
- SAP Business Workflow.
- SAP MM-Purchasing.
Advantageous Skills Requirements:
- Formal qualification in IT (Diploma / Degree) or relevant SAP Certification.
- Delivery Management.
- SAP EWM Operational consultant.
- Understanding of EWM processes in S/4HANA.
- Troubleshooting EWM issues and providing business support.
- Understanding EWM queues in S/4HANA.
- Monitoring & investigation of queues in Warehouse Monitor.
- Knowledge on EWM configuration.
- Good experience in Extended Warehouse Management processes.
- BAPIs.
- Eclipse IDE.
- SAP Web IDE.
- SAP Ariba network.
- SAP Ariba Guided Buying.
