As a Deputy Manager at BCG, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Home Manager with the day-to-day operations of the care home. You will lead our dedicated team with passion and commitment, fostering strong relationships with residents, their families, and multi-disciplinary teams. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents in line with BCG's policies and procedures and all external regulatory requirements.

Your role will extend beyond meeting professional standards and statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements. You will provide specialist nursing support and advice, take responsibility for resident care in the absence of the Home Manager. You will supervise and coach colleagues to deliver Care That Makes The Difference .

Key Responsibilities:

Promote our residents’ independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering the highest standards of care and continuously striving for improvement.
Ensure strict compliance with Care Inspectorate regulations to uphold quality standards.
Cultivate and nurture relationships with external stakeholders, fostering effective communication with residents, families, staff and other stakeholders.

About You:

You are a qualified RGN/RMN with a valid NMC pin, possessing up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices and strong leadership skills. You have a background in person-centred care planning ideally within a care home environment. Additionally, you are compassionate, resilient, and determined to provide the high standard of care that our residents deserve.

Coupar Angus Care Home

Opened in 2011, Coupar Angus Care Home is a purpose-built, spacious and community orientated home located in rural Perthshire.

We offer a full range of caring support including specialist dementia care, respite, palliative, nursing and residential care ensuring our residents are in an environment where they feel safe, secure and in at home. We have strong links with the local community with our intergenerational projects creating lasting relationships with our local schools and nurseries.

Our experience team are fully trained to provide personalised care for each resident, with a particular attention to dementia care.
