Accounts Assistant
You will take ownership of your work and will support the Accounts in producing accurate accounting information for our FMCG business.

The ideal candidate will have good understanding of accounting processes, controls and will be able to work flexibly.
Will be friendly and approachable as team culture is important. They will be self-motivated, with a positive outlook and a clear focus on accuracy, whilst naturally assessing their own performance and showing initiative.
Job Purpose: Taking ownership of the processes and support the smooth running of the day to day activities within the Finance Team.
Main duties and accountabilities:
- Processing invoices
- Processing journals
- Allocating cash
- Reconciliations
- Support the month-end process
- Supporting the Accounts Function as required
Education & Qualifications:
- A-Level or equivalent (required)
Knowledge and Experience:
- Good accountancy and bookkeeping skills experience or knowledge of processes
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Some experience in an accounts role
- Always adopts a professional approach
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data and make recommendations
