Operations and Finance Consultant
A company in Cape Town is looking for an operations and finance consultant to join their team.
Duties & Responsibilities
This role will play a critical part in ensuring our service to clients and independent professionals is prompt and professional, as well as helping keep a tight rein on all financial matters at the company.
Finance:
- Monthly invoicing and payments
- P&L and cashflow review and projections
- Finance analysis and reporting
- Regular liaison with external accountants
- Payroll management for freelancers
Contracting:
- MSA reviews and implementation, including vendor registration work
- Drafting of freelancer contracts and addendums
- Liaison with client procurement and HR teams to ensure signing of contracts
- Review, drafting and maintenance of key legal documents, such as NDAs, consulting contracts, etc.
- Client and sales analysis and reporting
- Maintain e-filing of key client and freelancer data
- Support the sales team with business development activities, such as target client analysis, pitch deck building, etc.
- Coordination of marketing events
Customer Service Assistant:
- Scheduling of interviews and meetings
- Onboarding and offboarding processes
People Orientation:
- Onboarding of new hires
- Team events and staff engagement
Desired Experience & Qualification
- 2 years' experience in finance and operations
- Highly numerate, and able to conduct analysis and work with data
- Experience working with contracts and legal documents
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
- Ability to engage and manage senior stakeholders
- Good skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Xero accounting would be an advantage
- Willingness to work from home and office
- Located in Cape Town or a willingness to relocate to Cape Town
