A Head Guide leads a guiding team at a 5-star game lodge, managing daily operations, overseeing teams, and ensuring exceptional wildlife experiences for guests while maintaining safety and service standards. Key responsibilities include managing daily duties, driving departmental goals, fostering relationships, overseeing budgets, and providing high-quality game experiences. The role also involves maintaining tracks, hosting guests, prioritizing safety, and undertaking administrative duties. Qualifications include a facilitator and assessor qualification, valid registration with DEAT, a valid first aid certificate, and valid driver's license and PDP. Additional qualifications include fire boss skills, 4x4 driving skills, and basic knowledge of labor law.
