Job Overview
The main purpose of this position:
To establish and manage a world-class Hospital. This role is accountable for the implementation, management, and monitoring of Hospital Operations for the Group, ensuring quality patient care and management.
The incumbent manages a team of specialists and the scope of this role spans across the Hospital and interfaces with Head Office.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic direction setting and planning for the Hospital area in alignment with the Group’s vision and mission.
- Develop the Hospital’s standards based on global and local best practices to achieve operational excellence and quality care.
- Set goals and standards for the Hospital to support the business plans.
- Plan and utilise the available skills and equipment sets for maximum effectiveness and productivity.
- Support and guide relevant work streams (i.e., Nursing, Patient Experience) to achieve operational success.
- Drive continuous improvement and identify and manage operational risks.
- Maintain quality patient care delivery standards through suitably qualified and registered professionals.
- Manage communication, service providers, projects (where applicable), and budgets, resourcing, roll-out, and change management as relating to Hospital Operations.
- Initiate and implement operational activities of the business unit aimed at delivering best patient experience, best outcomes, with cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation applicable to Health and Safety.
- Streamline the Hospital and drive alignment, collaboration, and synergy between the various stream leads and healthcare professionals to provide healthcare services.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Business or Healthcare)
- Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) will be an added advantage
- 5-7 years within Hospital Management experience
- 3 years’ people management experience
