In this role, you will support the Service Team Manager in enhancing both the client experience and associate development. You carry the weight of ADP’s service reputation and client satisfaction in your hands.
The nature of your job is to support clients by processing their payrolls in compliance with legislative requirements whilst building and maintaining sustainable client relationships to ensure recurring business, whilst at the same time coaching and mentoring associates to do the same. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Responsibilities
What you can expect on a typical day:
- Processes complex payrolls and handles demanding client matters.
- Interprets, applies and communicates statutory changes to associates.
- Improves payroll processes for the benefit of clients and associates.
- Monitors compliance and initiates the improvement of internal systems and processes, implements payroll best practices, and identifies potential risks to clients.
- Drives NPS scores by assisting associates to create pleasing customer experiences.
- Builds and maintains client relationships by improving client engagement within the team client base.
- Coaches and develops current associates guided by Service Team Manager’s assessments and recommendations as well as on-boarding of new associates.
- Serves as subject matter expert for technical enquiries.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
Qualifications:
- A diploma / degree in commerce / human resources or any related qualification / experience.
Experience:
- 5+ years payroll experience or experience as an HRIS practitioner with payroll systems experience (Sage300 and/or Premier)
Skills, Knowledge & Attributes:
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- In-depth SA payroll knowledge
- Knowledge of SA payroll tax legislation
- Knowledge of SA labour legislation
Ability to work independently
- Ability to influence associates and guide towards achievement of work objectives
Bonus points for these:
- Experience in a Payroll Outsourcing environment will be advantageous
- Knowledge of other African countries payroll tax legislation will be advantageous
- End to end implementation experience within the HCM space (Preferred)
