Calling all insurance experts for a Senior Claims Manager position at a leading insurance provider in Mozambique.
Duties & Responsibilities
Role's Purpose:
Lead claims operations, ensuring efficient processing and customer satisfaction. Manage a team, implement best practices, and collaborate with stakeholders.
Experience & Qualification Criteria:
- Degree in Commerce, Insurance, Law or other related field
- 5 years of claims management experience as well as short term insurance
- Certificate of proficiency in insurance, or higher
- Strong knowledge of insurance principles and regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in English and Portuguese
Primary Responsibilities:
- Management of a team
- Providing service both internally as well as externally
- Managing the budget
- Accountability of the claim departments effectiveness
- Performance Management: Analyzing trends and metrics to optimize operations
- Reporting: Preparing reports and analyses for management review
