Job Summary:
TA’s will participate in weekly planning meetings with the primary instructor and other TA’s. Prior to each lab, TA’s will work together to set-up the lab rooms with necessary teaching tools to meet lab objectives. During labs, TA’s will help facilitate student learning with teaching presentations, small group activities, practicing clinical testing, and answering questions. After labs, TA’s will ensure that lab specimens, equipment, and lab rooms are cleaned and organized.
Minimum Qualifications:
This is a Work-Study position. Students must have been awarded a Federal Work-Study Award for the current year and be enrolled in classes at the U during their time of employment.
Preferences:
Applicants should have taken PH TH 7050 or OC TH 7050 and be ranked in the top half of their class for the course to be considered.
