Our clients in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry are looking for a Quality Specialist to join their performance-driven team. If you meet the below requirements, do not hesitate to send your CV for consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with industry standards like IATF 16949 and OEM-specific requirements (Q1, IQB).
Verify and validate improvements, process changes, and new product launches.
Perform Layered Process Audits and address audit findings through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Improve internal supplier performance to enhance product quality.
Participate in daily meetings to resolve defects and manage product/process inspections.
Develop and maintain Control Plans and participate in FMEA teams.
Supervise product inspectors, review inspection records, and support decision-making on non-conforming products.
Monitor significant characteristics using statistical tools and conduct Measurement System Analysis.
Support defect reduction plans and provide weekly reports to the QC Manager.
Address customer complaints and ensure lessons learned are documented.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Promote a positive HSE culture and maintain discipline.
Define and communicate team roles and responsibilities.
Uphold values like honesty, integrity, respect, openness, teamwork, accountability, and passion in the workplace.

Requirements

Grade 12 Certificate, with Mathematics and Science as subjects.

Certificate in Quality Assurance.

Quality Assurance Diploma/Engineering Diploma - Preferable.

Yellow belt six sigma (preferably green belt).

Experience in OEM manufacturing environment (preferable Tier 1, or Chemistry Industry tier N).

Good understanding of IATF 16949, Automotive core tools, OEM Specific Requirements.

Good understanding of Statistical tools and indices.
