Duties & Responsibilities
- Together with the FD oversee the full finance and accounting functions of the 3 businesses.
- Responsible for financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis required to inform the strategic decision-making necessary to enhance profitability.
- Follow divisional procedures and controls and ensure compliance with local accounting principles, rules and tax regulations.
- Prepare and present reports.
- Daily focus on STD costing.
- Inter-company sales and contribution.
- Balance Sheet recon, SOX reports.
- Fixed Assets.
- Project Management.
- Internal controls and B/S recons.
- Payroll review.
- Month-end closes.
- Hedging, currency management and cash forecasting.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- CA (SA)
- Minimum 5-years as head of Finance team with a national footprint
- Excellent IFRS knowledge
- Proven track-record of team management
